I think that all of the people that are currently vocal about AI taking their jobs are actually not people that have had tech jobs in the first place, but rather people who have either just gotten into tech (college graduates) or people who have never been competitive enough to get into tech in the first place. Additionally I'm willing to bet its skewed toward the latter. If you pulled that bell curve graph and applied it, the mid wits are always the largest demographic of people. The average people not skilled or talented enough to push themselves into the top 10% of the field. Though they are perfectly capable of writing inflammatory tweets though.
